Las Palmas
This project is a prime example of where and how we push the limits. We were faced with a kitchen’s worst nightmare, a load bearing wall closing and limiting the kitchen space.
When there’s a problem there’s always a solution, here we opened the wall up as much as we could without making enormous structural changes. The design of the kitchen island is around the structure and without interruption to the space, actually it is accented with embedded LED lights. Design rules are meant to be broken, in this kitchen we added different shapes and angles with a pop of color. Combining two different materials is never a bad idea, keeping in mind the different textures and color combinations. This kitchen is a prime example of where natural meets modern.
